Designed for the electrical, voice/data comm, and general industrial markets, the BMP™21 Portable Label Printer is a thermal transfer printer that creates legible, high performance labels for harsh working environments. One-handed operation, label retention and new features advance ease of use
The BMP™21 Portable Label Printer offers a number of new user-friendly features that make it easy to operate; in
fact, this label maker can be fully operated with only one hand. It has a dual cutter that functions with simple push
buttons, which eliminates user fatigue and allows for one-handed cutting. The dual cutter also has a new label
retention feature, which keeps the label from falling on the floor after it is cut – a much-needed solution for ensuring
the labels stay organized on the job site.
The BMP™21 portable printer also offers new capabilities like automatic data serialization, internal memory storage
and retrieval, and automatic font sizing and label formatting. The labeler features more than 80 different built-in
symbols, graphics and barcodes specific to its targeted industries, including 13 voice/data comm. symbols, 19
electrical symbols and 48 general identification symbols.

Designed for maximum usability, the BMP™21 Portable Label Printer can be purchased with several accessories that expand the functionality of the printer. For example, there is a magnet accessory that can be affixed to the label
printer, giving professionals the option to attach it to panels, I-beams and other magnetic-receptive surfaces during
use or storage. Another multifunctional accessory is available with a built-in flashlight for seeing in dark spaces. When used with the labeler’s new backlight feature on the display screen, the flashlight accessory makes it possible to create labels in areas with little to no lighting.

The BMP™21 Portable Label Printer offers Brady’s widest variety of label types and sizes for a handheld labeler. In
addition to the standard nylon, polyester and indoor/outdoor vinyl labels, this label maker can print on PermaSleeve™ heat shrink sleeves and self-laminating vinyl up to 1.5” wide. Its labels adhere to irregular, curved or highly textured surfaces, and many can stand up to grease, oil and most industrial chemicals.

Brady – Jabac Connections has announced the launch of its most versatile portable printer, the new BMP™71 Label Printer. With more than 400 different label options and the fastest print speed on the portable printer market, the BMP™71 labeler is a time-saving, multi-functional labeling tool for multiple applications and industries.
BMP™71 Printer offers record amount of label options for a portable printer
The BMP™71 Label Printer packs the print precision and versatility of a large, desktop printer into a compact, portable printer that can be carried on the jobsite. It can print on more than 30 different types of label materials, including self-laminating sleeves and flag labels, indoor/outdoor vinyl up to 2" wide, polyester die-cut labels, raised panel labels and more. The labeler can create more than 400 different label parts, giving users an impressive variety of label types, sizes and colors to choose from.
With such a wide selection of labels, the BMP™71 labeler offers the flexibility to create workplace safety labels, wire and cable markers, patch panel labels, pipe markers, visual workplace labels, barcode labels and facility identification labels – all with one printer.
User-friendly features include design wizards, material recognition and high speed print
Designed to create labels faster and easier, the BMP™71 Label Printer offers several new features that save time throughout the label creation process, including label design wizards for electrical, voice/data comm and safety/general ID applications. With step-by-step instructions and easy-to-use templates, these design wizards give users a convenient shortcut for creating the most popular labels in those industries.
The labeler features material-recognition technology, which automatically formats a print job according to the inserted cartridge. There are hundreds of advanced symbols and graphics available, and storage space to save more than 100,000 label files. Combined with a print speed of 1.5" per second, Brady's fastest portable print speed yet, these new features allow users to design and print labels in half the time.
The BMP™71 labeler is also available with Brady's LabelMark™ Label Design Software and MarkWare™ Software for expanded label design capabilities. LabelMark™ Label Design Software is completely integrated with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD applications, and is recommended for use with the BMP™71 printer for asset identification, component marking, voice/data comm labeling and wire marking, among other applications.
Full-color graphical label display saves time, reduces material waste
The BMP™71 Label Printer features a large, full-color graphical screen that shows a full-scale image of the label as it is being created. With this screen, users can see exactly what their label will look like as they create it – eliminating the need to create multiple "test labels." By printing labels correctly on the first attempt, users can save time and money by reducing a significant amount of label material waste.
In addition to the label preview, the screen also displays a variety of other useful information, including media and battery status indicators and material and ribbon part numbers. Users can see the label color and size, as well as application templates, font size, bold and other type functions.
